Leave Eilat in the morning, drive to the Jordanian border (Arava border). After border crossing procedures, meet with your Jordanian tour guide and enter the country.<\/p>\n

Drive through the scenic Jordanian desert, pass the Wadi Rum area, where Lawrence of Arabia once lived and fought with the Bedouin.<\/p>\n

We continue to the fascinating Rose City, Petra<\/strong>, known as “Ha Sela Ha Edom” or red rock city. We will start at the “Siq” (Canyon) and then proceed on foot to Petra, the ancient capital of the Nabateans from the 3rd century BC to the 2nd century AD. We will visit the most interesting carved monuments such as the Treasury (El Khazneh – a tomb of a Nabatean king) to the field of tombs, obelisks, the altar etc. From this point, you can view the whole of the rock city.<\/p>\n

After the visit, we will stop for lunch, followed by a visit to Moses Spring before leaving Wadi Musa, the new town of Petra.<\/p>\n

We will drive to Aqaba for a short city tour before returning to the Arava border and back to Eilat.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
